Suspended Large Shaker - Qsls

The Qsls large shaker uses a new patented solution for combined shaker suspension and force generation. This enables effective decoupling from test objects over a wide frequency range in combination with a high force density and high electric efficiency. The Qsls allows testing on large or very large structure with a practicality and accuracy well above any other solution in the market. This Qsls shaker replaces an instrumented sledgehammer or large externally supported shakers, and can be used in any inclination and in tight access situations.

As for all other Qsources shakers, the lack of any external support enables fast instrumentation. It is self-alining, so there’s no need to align the shaker, force sensor and test object. The shaker is mounted on and supported by the test structure, and can be glued onto the test object in any orientation. Its narrow design, with high force density, makes it possible to excite in tight spaces around machinery.

The force sensor is integrated and the Qsls thumper shaker has various mechanical, thermal and electric protections for reliable and efficient use.
